Tigre Escobar is a Latin photographer who skillfully blends techniques of fashion, art, and documentary photography to create vivid portraits and short films, often centered on members of the Latin Queer community around the world. 

Based in New York and Mexico City, Tigre initially studied in the art history program at Saint Martin's School of London and later got his Bachelor Arts specialized in Photography and Bachelor in Fine Arts specialized in art history from the University of Miami.He has exhibited his ongoing photo project, Proud Humans, in solo shows atGaleria ONE, La Habana (2022), and in la Galería La Cometa, Bogotá (2022), and most recently in The Art of Nobody, one of the most acclaimed independent exhibitions during Zona Maco 2025.

Tigre recently received awards from the ND Awards and the Life Framer Photography "Humans”Contest 2025, and he was a finalist in the 2025 Berlin Fashion Festival.
